When I was asked later about the wedding I shot as a last minute fill in during June, I can honestly say nothing went right. And yet, I can also say it was one of the most fun filled, shenanigan laced energetic events I've been lucky enough to be a part of. Kicking off the day with the Father of the Bride rocking out dancing in the living room as I arrived at 10 am, I figured right off the bat that it would be a pretty good day. With literally only two weeks to scout the venue, prep for the big day, and even be able to just meet Carly and Peter, I was to say a little more than apprehensive. But even in beautiful Shoreline, Washington, despite sideways rain and a white tarp down to keep Carly's dress from the soaked lawn, smiles were undeniable and the celebration was on full throttle as we dashed around the yard, caravanned to the gorgeous Ballard First Lutheran Church, and then partied it up while gazing on the beautiful Seattle skyline aboard the MV Skansonia Ferry for the reception. Great people, and such great times.
