Badger Mountain Mist. / by Rhys Logan

Badger Mountain is littler more than a 4,000 foot bump lying between the Waterville Plateau and the Wenatchee Valley and Columbia River.  Travelling back to Bellingham I chose to cross it because it is one of my favorite drives.  The mix of wooded hillsides, wildlife, blooming Balsam Root, wheat fields and farming homesteads that dot a road that was only fully paved just this year, were made even more beautiful by a surprise early summer snow.

thanks for looking
