Colombia. One of the most uniquely bio-diverse regions in the entire world, with cultures equally as rich as its ecosystems.
A three month excursion road tripping, diving, exploring, photographing and filming our way through the wonders of this incredible country, this gallery represents the documentation of the experiences along the way.
From massive hydro-electric projects creating massive man-made lakes near the tourist city of Guatape and La Piedra del Peñol, to the city of eternal spring and massive civil projects in Medellín. Driving 12 hours south across the country to the formerly militia controlled Valle de Cocora, along the coffee areas of Eje Cafetero, seeing the incredible bird life of Quimbaya, witnessing the Desert of Tatacoa, the immense metropolitan capital of Bogota, and flying north to dive and see firsthand the corals and colors of Cartagena, Taganga, and the amazing wildlife of Parque Tayrona.
Helicopter rides, jungle hikes, the Amazon Rainforest, tropical beaches and the flavors of a country with a beautifully complex and sometimes tragic history.
